The First Annual Warren Capital Foundation Golf Tournament
On Tuesday, July 29, the first annual Warren Capital Foundation Golf Tournament was held at The Members Club at Four Streams in Beallsville, Maryland. Approximately 60 golfers joined Joe Warren, CEO and founder of Warren Capital Group for the outing. The foundation designated the Children’s National Medical Center of Washington D.C. as the beneficiary of the proceeds from the tournament. The hospital serves over 360,000 patients each year and is the only pediatric facility in the metropolitan area, providing millions of dollars worth of complimentary care. The golf tournament proved to be challenging but extremely fun for the golfers, with Geoff Washburn, John Miller, Harry Kantarian, and Thomas Tate winning first place. Afterwards, golfers enjoyed a barbeque dinner at the club and the first and second place teams spent their prize winning gift certificates at the pro-shop on golf merchandise. It was a fantastic start to this inaugural event and everyone who came out enjoyed the great company, competition, food, and fun.
